I Love To Play!   SPECIAL UPDATE!

To catch up on this story and read the events before April 12, please visit our Press Page or our Facebook page.

May 3--Eating like a horse, Courage is up to 60 pounds! He loves to play in water--don't forget he didn't have this in his prior home either--and he tries to catch the hose! Some basic behavior training is beginning as he's a little clueless about life inside a home. Arraignment date still on for May 12 as far as we know.

May 12 -- Arraignment will be TOMORROW in Bellflower Court. Courage won't be attending, as he's busy enjoying his life with his GSD brother. Courage has started his training and is getting good reports so far. He needs to work on not jumping on people, not bounding on the leash, etc. He's one happy boy at 67 lbs!

May 18--Courage continues to thrive. He had a pool party with himself in a blue plastic pool. Since water is his favorite toy, he was ecstatic!

May 25 -- The suspected villain's attorney successfully postponed the trial until June 15. We will continue to monitor the case. Courage is well, happy and silly. He has a personal trainer (for obedience) and is learning what is expected of him. So far, no set backs at all regarding his health!

May 26 -- Courage weighs 74 pounds! His target weight is 85! He's going to be "The Biggest Gainer!"

June 1 -- -77 pounds and growing strong! Courage is enjoying the puppyhood he never had--he loves to play in mud as much as he loves to play in water. He has begun 'excavating' in his yard--has his own ideas for landscaping! His mommy tries to act upset with him but she can't help but smile at his antics!

June 30 -- 83 pounds and doing well in obedience class! Makes his mommy laugh every day! Pre-trial hearing for former owner is July 12 in Bellflower Court, Los Angeles.

July 12 -- Preliminary Hearing began however was postponed due to crowded court calendar. Here is an update from local media:

Courage's vets and his new adoptive mommy testified briefly. Next court date is 7/26.
