PRIVATE PARTY DOGS.
 The Private Party listings are provided as a community service to assist dogs that GSROC is not able to bring into our rescue program at this time. German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County has not evaluated these dogs for health or temperament.  Please contact the individual who is advocating each dog for more information.

There are approximately 46 private party dogs listed in this section.
 This number of available dogs will vary due to recent adoptions and new arrivals on an hourly, daily and/or weekly basis.

Weasle
Weasle's guardian angel took her under her wing and cared for her after she was hit by a car. She is all better now and is ready to find her forever home.
Kanga
Kanga is a 3 year old black and brown German Shepherd. Her owner has become ill and can no longer care for her. She is obedience trained and housebroken.
Poppy
Poppy is a beautiful 8 month old female with dark markings. Her owner is experiencing financial challenges and turned to GSROC for assistance.
Lacey
Lacey lost her home when her owner became too ill to care for her. She is approximately 3-4 years young and eager for an active home. Lacey wants to be the only princess in your palace, please!
Sonny
Sonny is a darling two-toned cockapoo mix, age 12. His owner passed away and now Sonny is looking for a new place to spend his golden moments. Sonny is appreciative and affectionate.
Tiger
Tiger is a 6 year old long-haired Chihuahua mix. He is looking for a quiet home without children or other dogs.
Yuri
Yuri is a spirited 9 month old who loves people of all sizes. She is seeking an active family that is familiar with shepherd intelligence and drive.
Toby
Toby is a social butterly with people and knows some basic commands. He is approximately 3 years old and prefers not to share his home with other critters.
Zeus
Zeus is an adorable 4 month old male shepherd/jindo mix. He is crate trained, knows his basic commands, walks well on a leash and loves other animals. Zeus is special. Read more..

Optimus is a nine month old Shepherd mix whose owner is moving into a 'no pets allowed' apartment. Optimus likes kitties!!!

NON-GSROC LISTINGS.

 These dogs are NOT part of the GSROC Rescue Program, and we have not evaluated any of these dogs.

However, we know that sometimes unfortunate things can happen to individuals and families in such a way that they are not able to care for their beloved German Shepherd. They need a second chance; that's why we list them heree



 The Private Party listings are provided as a community service to assist dogs that GSROC is not able to bring into our rescue program at this time. Typically, these are dogs that individuals or families are no longer able to keep for one reason or another, or dogs that have been rescued by other organizations.  We understand that these dogs need loving homes just as much as our orphaned shepherds do.

 If you are the owner of a purebred German Shepherd that you can't care for anymore, and need to surrender him or her, you may be able to post the dog on our COMMUNITY BOARD for Private Party Dogs..

To be eligible for Submission of an application is not a guarantee that the dog will be accepted for an "Owner turn-in" with our group.
