Say "hello" to Shelby.

I love to go for walks!   Volunteer Favorite!

"Hi, my name is Shelby and I'm about two years old. My family dropped me off at the shelter and left me there. I think I grew too big and had too much energy for the other little dogs in my house so they decided not to keep me. I am so happy that GSROC bailed me out of there and has promised to find me a new family to love. I really don't like being in a cage and love it when the volunteers come to take me out for a walk and to give me hugs. They are teaching me to walk on a leash and sit down. I don't think they can fix my voice though--it's a little weak and I think that someone took it away from me while I was asleep."

Even though she is very thin right now, Shelby has a lovely full tail that wags a lot when she gets out for her walks. We will update Shelby's profile as we get to know her better. We believe that she would like to have a large male dog as a playmate, but she may play too rough for smaller dogs.
